How to deal with global changes and emerging infections: a meeting with Medici Senza Froniere
Climate change, mass migration, and new infections are challenging health systems around the world, and the future of medicine depends on our ability to respond in a rapid and coordinated manner.
On January 16, 2025, a seminar will be held to explore these issues through the field experience of Medici senza frontiere (MSF). The appointment is in the Aula Magna Maestri, Padiglione 23, Policlinico Sant'Orsola di Bologna, from 2 to 5 p.m.
The seminar will offer a concrete view of humanitarian actions undertaken in global crisis contexts, with a focus on projects dedicated to the fight against antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and the management of emergencies such as Monkeypox in African countries.
The meeting will feature the participation of:
Dr. Ettore Mazzanti, expert in humanitarian medicine and Career Manager of MSF Italy.
- Dr. Agnese Comelli, specialist in infectious diseases at MSF Italy and the Policlinico di Milano.
