We are a Department of excellence that unites advanced research, technology and training, offering personalized solutions in the medical and healthcare fields.

DIMEC's research groups represent a partner for companies in research and development, in particular by providing advice, carrying out research projects, participating together in competitive tenders, organising events and moments of dialogue and confrontation, as well as creating longer-term initiatives such as joint workshops.

Relations with companies, i.e. the conclusion of contracts, conventions and in general all agreements relating to research are managed by the SAM area - Research Sector, which, for the promotion, protection and exploitation of results collaborates with ARIN - Knowledge Transfer Office - life sciences, social sciences and humanities, plant varieties (KTO - LSV)

Free scientific patronage of the Department

DIMEC grants patronage to initiatives, promoted by external entities, deemed worthy for purposes of cultural, scientific and social promotion and considered of particular interest to the University itself.
Entities external to the University (e.g., non-profit organizations, associations, non-profit committees and foundations, other public and/or private entities for activities of cultural interest) can request the patronage of the Department by writing to: sam.staffdirezionale.terzamissione@unibo.it
