Cellular biology and cytology laboratory
The research activity is mainly focused on the study of the inflammatory microenvironment of blood cancers, with a special focus on the functional characterization of extracellular vesicles.

Research Projects:
- Study of the inflammatory mechanisms that regulate the relationship between tumor cells and the immune/stroma microenvironment in blood cancers, with particular reference to the role of extracellular vesicles.
- Functional characterization of subpopulations of extracellular vesicles of patients with myelo/lymphoproliferative syndromes.
- Study of the role of senescence in the pathogenesis of blood cancers.
