Collaborating with us

The Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences' courses on preparing for childbirth, parenthood, and the early postpartum period make use of collaborations specifically designed for pregnant women and their families: meetings with professionals and institutions that can provide parents with important information.

Meeting with the municipal police

The aim of this meeting is to provide accurate information on transporting newborns and children in vehicles, from everyday car travel to bicycles and motorcycles/scooters, depending on the age of the children.

We therefore believe it is important to open this meeting not only to the future parents but also to all those (grandparents, uncles, aunts, etc.) who will be involved in transporting the child.

Meeting with the pediatric neonatologist

The meeting has been specifically designed to provide comprehensive and professional answers to all the questions and curiosities of future parents.
One meeting is scheduled for each childbirth preparation course.

Meeting: “Protected children in safe homes”

The arrival of a child often coincides with a reorganization of the home in order to improve safety.

This meeting has been specially planned to inform future parents of the necessary changes to avert small and large dangers, sometimes little known, that can pose a real risk to the health of young children.

At the end of each meeting, a special checklist will be distributed that can be used as a reminder to make your home even safer.

The meetings will be held by Dr. Romina Cassini.

Meeting with the psychologist

Each birth preparation course includes a meeting where the future parents have the opportunity to express their doubts and fears related to the birth process.

Topics related to the emotional changes that accompany pregnancy, childbirth, and the postnatal period, both physiological and non-physiological, will also be addressed.

The meeting is held by Dr. Gabriella Cangini

What do you think of us?

Your feedback will help us improve the way we share knowledge with all future mothers. We would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes of your time to fill out the satisfaction survey, which will be administered during the course.
