A New Step Towards Integrating Preclinical Research and Clinical Practice: The First Seminar of PRO - Preclinical & Translational Research in Oncology
On February 27, 2025, at 3:30 PM, Aula Chiantore will host the first seminar organized within the framework of the PRO - Preclinical & Translational Research in Oncology platform, an initiative aimed at strengthening the synergy between preclinical research and clinical practice.
This meeting is the first in a series of events designed to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and highlight the latest innovations in cancer treatment.
The seminar, titled "Mechanisms of Resistance to Targeted and Immunotherapy in Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC): Analysis on Tumor Models and the Search for New Therapeutic Strategies," will be presented by Prof. Pier Luigi Lollini’s group, a leading name in oncology. It will address key issues related to understanding therapeutic resistance in patients with lung cancer.
Participation in the event, which will also be available virtually via the Teams link here,
represents a valuable opportunity for scientific updates, beneficial for both researchers and clinicians in a field that sees daily extraordinary advancements but also new challenges.
The seminar series aims to bridge the gap between laboratory research and patient care, helping to make scientific discoveries increasingly applicable and useful in everyday clinical practice. It is an opportunity that not only enriches the educational journey of PhD students and researchers but also has the potential to shape the future of oncological therapies.
