Hygiene, preventive medicine, occupational medicine, forensic medicine, medical statistics and sanitary-environmental engineering to address health determinants at individual and collective level.

The field of public health research brings together expertise in hygiene, preventive medicine, occupational medicine, forensic medicine, medical statistics and environmental health engineering to address the determinants of health at the individual and collective levels. Activities are carried out through research groups and projects dedicated to crucial issues such as cancer prevention, environmental and occupational risks, mental health in the workplace, gender-based violence and forensic innovation. The aim is to strengthen epidemiological surveillance, promote evidence-based public health policies and develop integrated strategies for prevention and health protection.
