Clinical Pathology Laboratory

Research areas:

In the laboratory, the following applied research activities are pursued:

1. The study of the alterations in the protein-synthetic cellular machinery in human tumors and ribosomopathie
2. The study of the pathogenic mechanisms of nephrovascular diseases, making use of electron microscopy technology

Diagnostic activity is also carried out with the Programma Dipartimentale di Medicina di Laboratorio - Treré

Teaching activity:

We offer an internship for the purposes of preparing the undergraduate thesis in the area of the university courses at the school of Medicine and Surgery and the Department of Pharmacy, Biotechnology.

Educational visits are occasionally organized as part of the activity of the School of Specialization in Clinical Pathology and Clinical Biochemistry and of the Degree Course for the profession of Biomedical Laboratory Technician.
