The DIMEC PhD meeting
What it is
Learn&Share is an annual event involving the PhD programs of the Department of Medical and Surgical Sciences (DIMEC). Now in its fourth edition, it represents a moment of scientific discussion and professional growth, designed to enhance the work of young researchers and strengthen the sense of scientific community within the Department.
Structure
- Presentations and posters: PhD students are called upon to present and discuss the progress of their research projects, in the form of a poster for the 2nd year and an oral presentation for the 3rd year.
- Lectures and keynotes: presentations by professors and guests on highly topical cross-cutting themes, from artificial intelligence to biomedical innovation.
- Video interviews: PhD students present their projects in a multimedia format, for the purpose of outreach and dissemination.
- Prizes and awards: for the best works presented.
Objectives
- To offer PhD students an opportunity for growth and evaluation preparatory to their advancement to the next academic year.
- To promote new collaborations and synergies between researchers and doctors.
- To disseminate research projects through digital and multimedia tools.
2025 Edition
The latest edition of Learn&Share took place in September 2025 and saw the participation of all PhD students from the programs affiliated with DIMEC, featuring oral sessions, posters, and keynotes on innovative topics.
