The Department is mainly based at the IRCCS Policlinico di Sant'Orsola, where both teaching, research and welfare activities are carried out. Furthermore, DIMEC is present on the Forlì and Ravenna Campuses, where the agreement with the AUSL Romagna is active.

In Bologna there is a service that manages access, initial reception and information for users in the classroom. It also provides auxiliary services to the functionality of the spaces and checks and monitors the status of the classrooms, systems and instrumental equipment.
