Venerdì 19 giugno 2026, presso l’Aula Magna Nuove Patologie del Policlinico di Sant’Orsola, si terrà l’International Workshop 2026 - 3D Spheroids for High-Throughput Drug Discovery.
L’iniziativa, promossa con la responsabilità scientifica del professor Filippo Piccinini del Dipartimento di Scienze Mediche e Chirurgiche dell’Università di Bologna, sarà dedicata alle nuove metodologie per il test dei farmaci antitumorali attraverso modelli cellulari tridimensionali e piattaforme avanzate di high-content screening.
Il workshop, organizzato in memoria del professor Francesco Canganella, Science Counsellor dell’Ambasciata d’Italia a Seoul dal 2013 al 2021, sarà un’occasione di confronto tra Università di Bologna, istituzioni di ricerca italiane e partner internazionali, con particolare attenzione alla collaborazione scientifica tra Italia e Corea del Sud.
Durante la giornata si parlerà di sferoidi multicellulari, imaging 3D, drug delivery, bioelettronica, bioprinting, radiomica, modelli matematici e applicazioni precliniche nella ricerca oncologica.
